It’s impossible to talk about Mexican cuisine and not mention Tacos. Arguably the king of the street food, soft corn tortillas filled with different meats or veggies and customised with distinct salsas of your liking. They are the ultimate go-to treat.

A favourite of the taco stands of Mexico. Fillings of your choice sizzled up with amazing veggies and finished with oozing cheese, served with a pile of freshly cooked corn tortillas and of course delicious salsas and lime wedges...ay que rico!

Lunchtime favourites these are the ultimate sandwich. We proudly bake our own traditional Telera bread and fill them with refried beans, creamy hass avocado with your choice of fillings...Guaranteed to satisfy the most intense hunger cravings.

The southern Mexican state of Oaxaca is famous for it’s 7 different types of Mole, each one distinct from the last. Our deepest respects are paid to this dish rooted deep in pre-hispanic culture. We will feature each of them on our menu on rotation.

Red mole Chile ancho rojo with tomato. (GF) Choose either boneless chicken or pork.

AMARILLO

Vegan mole with hierba santa, potatoes, green beans and chayotes. (Vg, GF).

COOKING SCHOOL:

Going to Oaxaca? what a great idea, you're gonna love it!

Spend a day at our family cooking school 'La Cocina Oaxaquena'. You will be picked up at your hotel and taken for a tour round one of the central markets where you will soak up the sights and smells of this incredible place. You will select your incredible produce to cook later at our real Mexican family home following instruction from the family as they guide you step by step through the days menu. You will drink Beer and Mezcal and enjoy the fruits of your labour with your fellow travellers. (all socially distanced if still applicable when you go...hopefully not!)
